We're looking for a Project Procurement Manager to join our Supply Chain Division.
Project Procurement Manager is responsible for supporting nuclear fuel transport sourcing projects by managing supplier Requests for Quotation and producing supplier contracts between Westinghouse and nuclear transport suppliers. This position will include external supplier liaison and working with the Westinghouse Nuclear Fuel Transport teams. This role is responsible for including cost, schedule, performance criteria, and risk identification/mitigation for nuclear fuel transport projects.
Candidate will interface with internal and external teams: Project Bid Teams, Commercial Integration, Contract Management, Nuclear Fuel Transport, Supplier Performance and external suppliers. Strong interpersonal relationship skills are required to manage internal stakeholders and external suppliers to provide timely and innovative solutions to meet the project and company needs.
Job Description:
- Manage interface with transport suppliers to incorporate their services into Westinghouse proposals, provide project teams with summaries of transport supplier proposals, provide supplier selection recommendation, ensure completion of project risk assessments, and negotiate prices and service delivery, and terms and conditions for nuclear transport services.
- Support various Managers by executing sourcing strategies to achieve business goals while driving continuous improvement with transport suppliers
- Placing and negotiating Westinghouse standard terms and conditions with Nuclear Fuel Transport Suppliers in the form of Supplier Framework Agreements
- Build strong relationships with cross-functional teams including the Nuclear Fuel Transport teams to maximize procurement and delivery effectiveness.
- Understand all the key operational & commercial elements of strategic and preferred suppliers to effectively communicate opportunities, challenges, and long-term plans and actions to internal stakeholders including project teams and Global Logistics leadership to support the nuclear fuel transport procurement strategy.
- Maintain good working relationships with new and existing suppliers. Assist with disputes, including schedule and quality issue resolution.
- Manage tracking of supplier actions for delivering on commitments for nuclear fuel commercial proposals
- Coordinate with Project Management Nuclear Fuel Transport, and all other related functions such as, quality and cost reduction.
- Ensure compliance within assigned reporting area with all business standards, internal policies, and legal/regulatory requirements.
- Prepare and communicate key project milestone updates and risks for key stakeholders.
- Proactively manage risks and escalate as appropriate for risk mitigation.
- Relationship Manager for assigned Westinghouse intermediaries
- Co-ordinating the Westinghouse Approved Supplier Process for nuclear fuel transport suppliers
- Undertaking P2P processes via SAP such as creating Service Purchase Orders
- Co-ordinating and reviewing Supplier Performances and feeding back findings to the Nuclear Fuel Transport teams
- Managing Supplier Corrective Action Requests for SFL related services
