PROJECT MANAGER 

The Project Manager is responsible for overseeing all phases of projects approved under the resort’s Capital Budget, ensuring each initiative is completed on time, within scope, and to the highest standards of quality. This role includes researching and collaborating with both existing and potential vendors to build strong partnerships, negotiate cost-effective purchase orders and contracts, and secure the most advantageous balance of price, quality, and service in all agreements. 

We’re seeking an individual who is strategic, analytical, and business-minded, with exceptional communication and leadership skills. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced environment, effectively coordinate multiple teams and activities, and engage comfortably with all levels of management and external partners to bring projects successfully to completion.

WHAT YOU’LL DO 

  • Plan, define, and oversee project scope, objectives, and deliverables from start to finish. 

  • Develop detailed project schedules and timelines to ensure milestones are achieved. 

  • Estimate labor, materials, and budget needs while ensuring efficient use of all resources. 

  • Assign tasks and responsibilities across the team to keep work organized and on track. 

  • Facilitate communication between departments and project stakeholders. 

  • Motivate, guide, and support team members throughout each project phase. 

  • Track and manage project costs, ensuring spending aligns with approved budgets. 

  • Oversee vendor contracts and procurement to meet project requirements. 

  • Identify potential issues early and take proactive corrective action. 

  • Maintain accurate documentation and prepare clear progress reports. 

  • Provide regular updates to department leaders and other key stakeholders. 

  • Conduct inspections, reviews, and approvals to maintain quality standards. 

  • Ensure all project activities follow company policies and safety regulations. 

  • Lead final project evaluations, confirm deliverables, and close out all documentation. 

WHAT TO BRING 

  • Legal authorization to work in the United States. 

  • Availability to work weekends and holidays as needed. 

  • Strong communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills. 

  • Proven ability to problem-solve, make sound decisions, and manage competing priorities. 

  • Financial and budget management awareness with a focus on cost efficiency.��

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and 10-key by touch; ability to accurately read and work with computer systems. 

  • At least three years of purchasing experience, preferably within a hotel or resort environment.
