Project Manager / Sr. Project Manager

JOB DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES

• Perform project cost and cash flow forecast.
• Supervise the project installation and inspection activities.
• Develop and maintain tools to improve the efficiency of performing project work.
• Review and evaluate performance of the project staff and contractors. Recommend necessary project training as required.
• Oversee procedures and documentation which govern and control project activities.
• Propose project changes which improve efficiency and safety.

 

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
Minimum education required of the position:
B.S. degree in Engineering, Science, or a relate d discipline or equivalent experience.

 

Minimum experience required of the position:

• Project Manager: 8+ years’ experience in nuclear power design, construction, maintenance, project management, Production, or equivalent. At least 5 years’ experience in maintenance, engineering, project management or production organization.
• Senior Project Manager: 10+ years’ experience in one or more of the following fields: nuclear power design, construction, maintenance, project management, operations, Production, or equivalent.

 

Minimum knowledge, skills, and abilities required of the position:

• Technical proficiency in engineering project management.
• Technical understanding of nuclear generation principles and operation.
• Outstanding communication, conflict management, and change management skills.
• Proficiency with current computer business applications.

 

ANSI Required: No

 

Any certificates, licenses, etc. required of the position:

• Desired: Professional engineering license, SRO License, or certification on a BWR or PWR.
