We are excited to invite applicants to join our Hill's Digital & Direct eCommerce group as a Project Manager supporting B2B, B2B2C and non-commerce digital mini-applications with a focus on Hill's Pet Nutrition initiatives! The ideal candidate is highly self-motivated and can work well both independently and within a team. They are a self-starter that is eager to drive eCommerce and related digital experience development while contributing to the Project Management capabilities of the team.
What You'll Do
- Partners with key stakeholders to ensure clarity of scope, deliverables and management expectations, both initially and ongoing.
- Develops project charters while securing appropriate leadership approval
- Ensures project teams are adequately resourced
- Identifies, communicates and plans for critical project tasks, including a strong focus on cross-functional dependencies
- Manages overall project timelines, including identification and communication of critical path items while driving execution
- Partners with Product Managers to develop agile milestone plans, backlogs and updates as needed.
- Leads agile ceremonies (Daily Standup, Sprint planning, Backlog Grooming, Retrospective)
- Identifies and resolves team impediments in a timely fashion.
- Assists in maintaining a well defined roadmap for digital commerce business-to-business & related apps with internal stakeholders
- Works with the Product Management team to continuously improve product / site management with agile development processes
- Contributes to project definitions, initial assessment of projects, and the integration of various project suppliers and vendors
- Prepares progress reports for project status to upper management & key stakeholders
- Maintains artifacts such as Product Backlog, Sprint Backlog, Burndown Charts, etc.
- Attends status meetings and update team members about potential project delays
- Coordinate project team members as needed and answer questions about the expectations
- Follows up on open items and track issues
- Captures lessons learned, key metrics & measures of success for Agile transformation
- Project administration and key duties, such as task planning & resource tracking
- Performs other duties as assigned
- Complies with all policies and standards
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree Computer Science, Information Technology, Mathematics, Engineering or similar
- At least 5 years years of experience as a Product Manager, Product Owner or Project Manager/Scrum Master
- Clear, concise and user-friendly communication skills to easily transmit your ideas to any audience
- Strong motivational and organizational skills
- Ability to work on numerous assignments at one time with demonstrated follow-through, attention to detail
