The Job:
As a Project Manager – Packaging with extensive project management and leadership experience particularly in Packaging. Where you can make an immediate and lasting impact on products and end users. You’ll be part of our Tools and Outdoor Team working as a hybrid employee. You’ll get to:
- Leads & Drives Complex Packaging Projects with a significant focus on product packaging, manuals, and labels across the organization.
- Driving focus and delivery to project timelines.
- Take complicated initiatives and breaking them into actionable sub-projects to drive progress
- Summarize project for top level management reviews.
- Summarize project progress to drive action from team members.
- Reports out business metrics and statistics on projects.
- Works closely with the Packaging Team and Engineering Excellence regarding projects that need to be discussed at the higher level (stop, start, continue).
- Working with Key stakeholders - Strategic Planning Leader, Platform COO. Vertical Leaders, Brand CEO’s, Chief Engineers, Packaging Leader.
- Tracks key KPI’s - Project Status on Time, On Cost Measures, Capex Plans and Status, Project Resource Utilization / Spend per project.
- Develop and implement a performance management system that monitors the success (i.e., rating) of ongoing manufacturing training programs and takes action to adjust where necessary.
The Person:

- Bachelor’s degree.
- 10 years of experience in Product Development within Packaging or a relevant industry.
- Personal experience running complex projects from beginning to end.
- Experience working across different cultures and time zones
- Ability to travel globally as needed.
- Owns the Execution of Projects under management.
- Establishes / Leads key business rhythms to drive success.
- Comfortable speaking up as the neutral party to drive the best business outcome.

The base pay range for this position in Maryland is $93,000.00 – 168,100.00. per year. Pay is based on market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. A sign-on payment may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the position offered.
