Job Description

One of our premier clients is in need of Project Manager, M&A to lead the efforts related to a strategic acquisition and then manage post-merger integration efforts on behalf of a utilities client. This role will be instrumental in driving the success of the acquisition, ensuring seamless integration for the people, process and technology related workstreams.

Location: Remote-East Coast Preferred

Project Length: 6 months +

Compensation Range: This role will compensate $100/HR W2 depending upon years of experience, education, and relevant certifications.  

Responsibilities

• Project manage the end-to-end management of the acquisition workplan, including post-merger integration activities.
• Develop comprehensive project plans and timelines, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives and financial targets.
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including IT, Finance, Legal, HR, and Operations to facilitate smooth transitions.
• Drive post-merger integration activities, including workstreams to manage cultural alignment, process harmonization, and synergy realization.
• Serve as a key liaison with external stakeholders, fostering relationships with acquired companies and partners.
• Monitor and report on the progress of the  program, providing updates to senior leadership.

Qualifications

• 10+ years experience as a Program or Project Manager of enterprise wide programs
• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, IT, Economics, Finance, or related field (MBA preferred).
• Proven track record in program and project management
• Experience working on M&A related projects, preferred.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities, capable of working with diverse teams and stakeholders.
• Strong analytical skills, with the ability to assess complex situations and develop effective solutions.
• Detail-oriented with a strategic mindset, able to anticipate challenges and proactively address them.
• Experience with post-merger integration, focusing on achieving synergies and cultural alignment preferred.
