Position: Full – Time / On-Site 

Rate: Up to 65K Annually

Caladwich Consulting is seeking a Project Manager to oversee and manage loading dock material management services at various NIH locations located within the main campus. This includes planning, executing, and supervising all contractor personnel to ensure efficient handling, receiving transportation, and inventory of materials and equipment. The position is crucial in maintaining smooth operations at NIH’s loading docks to support its mission


Daily Hours of Operation are 6:00am - 6:00 pm Monday through Friday, excluding Federal Holidays.


Core Responsibilities- SM Expertise in the following fields: 

• Provide effective full-time supervision and the technical expertise to manage the project and coordinate the inventory management

• Manage the movement, shipment, packing/unpacking of material and processing material

• Manage overall loading dock services to ensure adherence to contractual obligations and efficiency.

• Supervise and direct Warehouse Specialists, Administrative Clerks, Store Clerks, and other contractor personnel.

• Plan and schedule daily operations, ensuring materials are received, inspected, and transported efficiently.

• Develop and implement a Quality Assurance/Quality Control (QA/QC) plan to monitor performance.

• Ensure compliance with safety protocols, including handling hazardous materials like dry ice and gas cylinders.

• Maintain shipment and delivery records and submit reports to the COR monthly.

• Coordinate with NIH personnel to avoid service interruptions and ensure timely materials delivery.


Requirements

Qualifications / Required Experience:

• Experience: Minimum of 5+ years of experience in managing material handling and logistics operations

• Experience with Federal Agencies: Prior experience supporting federal or military medical supply programs, particularly in logistics roles, is preferred.

• Problem-Solving: Ability to troubleshoot logistical or supply chain issues and propose actionable solutions.

• Proven supervisory experience in a similar setting.

• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail.

• Familiarity with Naval Tactical Command Support System (NTCSS) R-supply and related inventory management systems.

• Experience in QA/QC and compliance with safety protocols, especially OSHA and NIH standards.


Requirements for Candidate:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field. 

• Warehouse and Inventory Management: Technical proficiency in inventory systems and warehouse operations.

• Communication Skills: Strong oral and written communication skills to coordinate with logistics teams and present status updates to government representatives.

• Ability to lift to 50 pounds and operate material handling equipment.

• Must pass background checks and security clearances as required by NIH.
