Job Description
AECOM is seeking a Project Management Manager for a future project that will be coming up within the next 3-6months. We are seeking someone with experience as an owner’s representative for a municipal courthouse project located in the city of Miami. The project is a County Courthouse with 25 stories and 46 courtrooms. The candidate will serve and the County’s representative and project manager for AVIT Installation and integration, FF and E Installation, Punch-list and close out coordination and other project management activities as required. This is a Hybrid role and des require days in office.
This person will be responsible for but not limited to the following:
- Manage County AV/IT/DAS Vendor (AVIT) including but not limited to:
- Running AVIT weekly progress meeting, including completing and distributing meeting minutes, track AVIT action items
- Provide onsite support including progress inspections
- Develop progress reports and provide as deliverables to County
- Manage coordination onsite between AVIT and General Contractor
- Review AVIT invoices – provide recommendations to County, complete onsite field verification of work complete
- Review AVIT RFIs - provide recommendations to County, liaise between County, Stakeholders, Designer of Record/Developer, and AECOM CA personnel
- Review AVIT Change Orders - provide recommendations to County, liaise between County Stakeholders, Designer of Record/Developer/Contractor, and AECOM CA personnel
- Review AVIT Submittals - provide recommendations to County, liaise between County Stakeholders, Designer of Record/Developer/Contractor, and AECOM CA personnel
- Review AVIT requests for time - provide recommendations to County, liaise between County Stakeholders, Designer of Record/Developer/Contractor, and AECOM CA personnel
- General Contractor Construction Management Support
- Availability to be on-site at the Courthouse as needed by the client, but no less than once per week for client site walk-through to review overall building progress
- Attend biweekly Contractor Progress Meetings in-person at Contractor’s office
- Monitor Contractor Construction Schedule –
- Review Contractor monthly schedules, liaise with AECOM scheduling subcontractor to provide monthly reviews/memos summarizing schedule updates and providing recommendations to the County.
- Work with current AECOM Construction Manager to compare actual progress to scheduled progress – provide reports to County
- Work with current AECOM Construction Manager to identify construction or contractual deficiencies, document them in reports, and track resolution with Contractor
