Project Manager

Job Summary: The Project Manager is responsible for leading, planning, and overseeing projects from conception through to completion. This role requires a strong ability to manage change, communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels, and maintain exceptional organizational skills. This position will report to the Director, Enterprise Project Management.  

Major Accountabilities:

1. Comprehensive Project Leadership

  • Lead a variety of projects, from inception to adoption, ensuring timely delivery, adherence to the defined scope, and budget constraints. 
  • Utilize robust project management methodologies to guide project lifecycle from initiation to closure. 
  • Expertly manage and prioritize tasks across multiple projects, maintaining a high level of precision and attention to detail.

2.  Strategic Planning and Financial Management

  • Collaboratively develop business cases, comprehensive project plans, and detailed budgets in partnership with business units.
  • Employ financial acumen and strategic insight to optimize resource allocation and cost managemen

3. Team Formation and Role Definition

  • Identify and assemble key project team members, clearly defining roles and responsibilities.
  • Foster strong, trusting relationships with both team members and business partners.
  • Work collaboratively across functions, infusing energy and positivity to motivate and drive commitment and action

4. Change Management Excellence

  • Implement and oversee change management strategies, ensuring seamless transition and stakeholder buy-in for project related changes.
  • Maintain consistent and transparent communication with stakeholders at all levels, providing updates on project status, potential risks, and arising issues.
  • Organize and lead meetings to ensure alignment, mutual understanding, and collaborative problem-solving among project team members and stakeholders.

5. Dynamic Project Management

  • Coordinate and oversee all aspects of assigned projects.
  • Manage and adapt to changes in project scope, schedule, and costs, ensuring continuous alignment with the change management plan and securing stakeholder acceptance.

6. Documentation and Reporting

  • Diligently maintain all project documentation.
  • Present regular project updates and status reports in required meetings. 

7. Perform additional duties as necessary, adapting to evolving project needs and organizational goals.

 

Education/Training Requirements: Bachelor's degree and/or equivalent work experience required. 

 

Experience/Specialized Skills: 

  • Bachelor's degree and/or equivalent work experience required.
  • Able to inspire a shared vision among cross-functional teams.
  • Demonstrates curiosity and a growth mindset; fosters and environment that supports learning, innovation, and intelligent risk-taking; and exhibits resilience in the face of setbacks.
  • Strong negotiating skills and ability to stay calm under pressure.
  • Able to identify continuous improvement opportunities and encourage a team to leverage new digital tools and ways of working.
  • Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
  • PMP, CAPM, or LSS certification preferred, but not required. 
  • 2-5 years' prior experience in project ma
