About the role
Position Summary:
The essential functions of the Project Manager will be:
- Meets and coordinates with clients and customers regularly.
- Oversees the development of work plans and reports for sampling, analyzing, and reporting concentrations of various contaminants and/or geochemical indicators in different media.
- Oversees and delegates technical tasks such as document preparation for various types of clients and ensures compliance with applicable standards for quality.
- Oversees planning, execution, and completion of projects with strict adherence to schedule and budget.
- Plans and directs environmental field efforts.
- Manages projects under the corporate and contract health and safety requirements.
- Spearheaded business development and proposal tasks, including efforts to acquire new clients/programs.
- Collaborates with a diverse team of subject matter experts to execute environmental projects for various federal and commercial clients
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in environmental science, engineering, geology, or related field and at least 8 years of experience performing management-related duties.
- Knowledge of and experience with regulatory compliance, agency coordination, stakeholder engagement, and strategic planning are required.
- Experience in AK required.
- Experience is desired in several areas: ADEC Contaminated Sites, ADEC Solid Waste, CERCLA, and RCRA.
- Experience collaborating with other subject matter experts in a project team setting
