Key Responsibilities

  • Lead planning, execution, and closeout of multiple strategic and tactical construction and facility projects across the New Jersey region.

  • Ensure assigned project work is completed on time, within scope, and on budget; maintain accurate cost forecasts, change-order control, and variance analysis.

  • Own assigned site budgets and the delivery of committed financial targets; prepare and maintain detailed monthly and quarterly budget reports, monitors, and reconciliations.

  • Lead long-range financial planning for the region’s site construction and facilities portfolio, including multi-year capital forecasting, lifecycle and replacement planning, and prioritization of capital investments.

  • Partner with Finance, Procurement, and site leadership to align budgets, funding requests, and governance approvals; drive timely submission of business cases and capital requests.

  • Identify cost-saving opportunities and implement cost-control measures, value-engineering, and procurement strategies to optimize spend and protect budget commitments.

  • Directly supervise and coordinate contractors, subcontractors, and vendors to ensure work is completed safely, compliantly with SOPs, local regulations, J&J policies, and quality requirements.

  • Partner with site leadership and cross-functional teams (Operations, EHS, Engineering, Procurement, Quality, Facilities) to align project schedules with operational readiness and handover requirements.

  • Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks related to schedule, cost, scope, safety, and regulatory compliance.

  • Manage procurement and vendor performance for project scopes including scope definition, vendor selection, contracting, and change management.

  • Lead site inspections, progress meetings, quality assurance checks, and oversee punch list resolution through final acceptance.

  • Maintain complete and auditable project document
