Position Summary

The Project Manager (PM) is responsible for managing and overseeing Federal Law Enforcement Training Centers (FLETC) contract operations related to student support services. The PM ensures all contractual requirements are met and that services are delivered efficiently, safely, and in compliance with federal standards.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Manage and oversee federal contracts, ensuring compliance with all contractual requirements, timelines, and performance standards.
  • Coordinate and supervise a wide range of student support services, including but not limited to:
    • Firearms operations
    • Motor pool and vehicle maintenance
    • Shipping and receiving
    • Warehouse operations and inventory control
    • Postal services
    • Transportation services
    • Role player services
    • Computer lab management
  • Serve as the primary point of contact between government stakeholders and internal teams.
  • Monitor service delivery, identify areas for improvement, and implement corrective actions as needed.
  • Prepare and generate reports, correspondence, and documentation required under the contract.
  • Ensure accurate data entry and maintenance of records in applicable systems.
  • Support audits, inspections, and reviews related to contract performance.


Education, Experience, and Technical Skills

Required Education, Experience, and Technical Skills

  • A minimum of 5 years of recent experience (within the past 10 years) in Federal Contract Management.
  • Demonstrated experience and working knowledge of student support services typical of federal training environments (e.g., firearms, logistics, transportation, warehouse, and computer lab operations).
  • Basic computer proficiency, including the ability to input data into systems and generate reports and correspondence.
  • Strong organizational, communication, and coordination skills.
  • Must have Real ID or Passport in order to undergo commercial airfare travel
  • Must have valid driver's license

Preferred Education, Experience, and Technical Skills

  • Prior experience supporting FLETC or similar federal law enforcement or training facilities.
  • Familiarity with DHS or DOJ contracting environments.


Work Environment

This position primarily operates in a professional office setting with standard office equipment and a quiet, climate-controlled environment. While in the office, there is no regular exposure to loud noise, hazardous materials, or heavy machinery.


This role also requires periodic travel to project sites, including locations undergoing renovation or active construction. During site visits, the employee may be exposed to non-temperature-controlled environments, construction noise, dust, and other typical conditions found on job sites. Appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) may be required during these visits
