JOB DESCRIPTION

This Project Manager is responsible for managing the construction of cogeneration solutions projects; defining the project scope and objective; identifying the activities needed to successfully complete the project by coordinating internal resources and third parties/vendors for the flawless execution of projects by activities, time, money, and equipment; directing the implementation of energy management projects;

ensuring that the project deliverables are on time, within scope, and within budget through monitoring and tracking process;

monitoring energy related construction issues;

managing change orders, project schedules, and project costs; reporting and escalating issues to management as needed; reviewing the quality of the work completed with the project team to ensure it meets the project standards;

writing reports related to project management;

managing relationships with the client and all stakeholders, including advising clients and stakeholders on topics such as sustainable design; establishing and maintaining relationships with third parties/vendors;

creating and maintaining comprehensive project documentation;

coordinating commissioning activities and schedules;

optimizing technical solutions based on project and cost requirements;

supporting the sales team for local inspections;

providing support during the draft of the offer to ensure a balance among technical solution, costs, and client’s requests;

supporting the Project Engineer for the local supply plan and for the optimization of the technical solution; and promoting awareness of renewable energy sources. 

 

 

 

REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, project management or a related field
• Two (2) years of experience managing energy or construction projects
• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification
• Must be willing to travel to client sites throughout the U.S. up to 25 percent of the time.
