Purpose:

The purpose of this position is to be responsible for planning, executing, and evaluating projects according to predetermined timelines and budgets. Working directly with project teams, hosting project review meetings, reporting on project schedules and metrics throughout the project life cycle are central to this position.

Essential Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Manage integration projects from initiation through delivery and final project audit.
  • Accountable for meeting project objectives, on time and on budget.
  • Work with and create buy-in from stakeholders to complete project charter outlining scope, goals, deliverables, required resources, budget, and timing.
  • Provide a project schedule identifying resource requirements, dependencies and timing of all tasks.
  • Resolve any issues and solve problems throughout the project life cycle.
  • Effectively manage the project scope by assessing and communicating the impact of scope changes and by ensuring that all proposed changes are documented and approved.
  • Track and report on project milestones and provide status reports to senior management frequently throughout the project life cycle.
  • Maintain a complete set of documentation for each project.
  • Determine how results will be measured and complete a post-project evaluation to determine how well results were achieved and incorporate lessons learned into future projects.
  • Develop and implement Project Review process to assess scheduled projects, determine appropriate changes, refine and implement changes for future projects.
  • Track, report, and monitor budgets for multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Ensure all projects are delivered on time within the stipulated scope and budget.

Position Requirements:

  • Bachelors Degree in Broadcast Engineering, Engineering, or a related field preferred.
  • Accounting classes, formal training, or experience preferred.
  • Minimum 5 years industry related experience in project management.
  • Project Management certification (PMP) preferred.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of broadcast management, technology, equipment, facilities, and production for major commercial and cable TV networks preferred.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage complex projects on tight time schedules and meet budget requirements.
  • Knowledge of complex production work flows and the ability to translate them to project teams, sales, and senior management.
  • Excellent analytical skills
  • Computer Skills such as Microsoft Office products, ERP Systems, and Microsoft Project.
