The fundamental role of this position is to oversee and coordinate the project management work associated with the successful and timely introduction of new projects and any changes to existing products, formulas, labels, or packages. This position has significant economic impact on the company’s profitability by determining new product commercialization timelines and developing new product Cost of Goods. The Project Manager will lead cross-functional project meetings, coordinate and represent the interests of all disciplines within the organization, maintain Finished Goods through the Product Change process, and manage new products and changes through the Stage Gate Process.
Your responsibilities
- Coordinate with various departments for project involvement.
- Create and maintain timelines for new products and changes.
- Provide accountability and follow-up for project meetings.
- Determine Cost of Goods for new products and work with Sourcing on new materials.
- Identify cost improvement sources for existing items.
- Lead project teams to develop and launch new product initiatives.
- Manage coordination of activities from inception to project completion.
- Present updates to management.
