About the role

Position Summary:

IEM is searching for a Full Time- Project Manager to work within our team; the preferred candidate will have program and project management experience working at a strategic level across multiple clients or applicants. 

 

Primary Location:

  • Candidate must live a commutable distance to Guaynabo, PR and be willing to work in the office daily.

 

Travel Requirements:

  • This position will require travel in Puerto Rico to complete work assignments or attend meetings.

 

Essential Functions:

  • Support daily programmatic operations and coordinate resources across all HMGP and PA Project Formulation assignments from COR3.
  • Act as main point of contact to COR3 for day-to-day operations and acceptance of assignments from COR3.
  • Coordinate all assignments received from COR3 for subrecipients assistance to include requests for information, technical assistance, and inspections.
  • Oversee and track assignments from COR3 and review deliverables for quality and accuracy prior to submission to COR3.
  • Coordinate all necessary reporting activities to communicate the status of all assignments from COR3.
  • Provide and/or manage daily technical assistance to subrecipient assistance team.
  • Monitor, identify, report, and recommend solutions to resolve issues related to Public Assistance and Hazard Mitigation Grant Program projects related to compliance, schedule, scope, budget, etc.
  • Coordinate and lead all programmatic meetings with COR3 and track all meetings with subrecipients. 

 

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or higher education from an accredited institution
  • Three (3) or more years of project management experience.
  • Experience with FEMA Public Assistance Program and Hazard Mitigation Grant Program. 
  • Must have fluent verbal and written communication skills in English and Spanish.
  • Must be working locally from Puerto Rico.

 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in federally funded infrastructure projects.
