Job Description
The Project Manager is responsible for successful execution of defined project support tasks as allocated by the team leader and individual Lead and/or Senior Project Managers. The team is focused on driving speed and simplification to enable big wins in the marketplace.
Essential Responibilities:
- Manage all aspects of designated indoor architectural brand service and product related projects from start to finish and/or work under direct supervision of Project Management leadership to facilitate execution, ensuring scope completion on-time and within budget
- Project manage select product integration initiatives to include variant configuration setup, product pilot runs, inventory transfers, vendor setups, etc.
- Standardize and implement integration of front-end service processes to deliver improved customer experience with effective operating outcomes
- Work closely with supply chain to assist with improving and sustaining appropriate front-end production planning procedures and inventory requirements to support customer demand
- Serve as back up and support for key service staff and other service related functions
- Assist in ensuring concierge service execution and trust capital continue to be built and improved upon through frequent touch points, voice of customer, problem solving, implementation of critical feedback and effective communication
- Proactively monitor scope to ensure what was agreed to is delivered, unless changes approved through scope management
- Collect metrics to give a sense for how projects are progressing and whether the deliverables produced are acceptable
- Monitor progress and provide regular updates through the life-cycle for designated projects. Provide problem analysis and corrective action as needed
- Prepare information and presentations for regular reports and project status meetings; present information to team as needed
- Perform data analysis as required in support of Lead/Senior Project Manager to gauge service experience, identify trends and feed scorecards
- Identify, communicate, and mitigate project risks
- Communicate and maintain project schedules, deliverables, committed dates and outcomes
- Drive collaboration and frequent communication across brand, operation and service teams
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college (or a high school diploma / GED with at least 4 years of experience in Project Management).
- Ability & willingness to travel as business need requires
Desired Characteristics:
- Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of two (2) years’ experience in Project Management, customer fulfillment, and/or other operations functions
- Prior Project support role or relevant administrative experience
- Strong understanding of project management tools
- Understanding of basic contractual terms and conditions
- Working knowledge of business and financial fundamentals
- Able to administer multiple projects simultaneously
- Prior experience and/or willingness to work virtually with team members that are not co-located
- Ability to coach and train new team members
- Experience with data analysis and tools
- Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM) Certification
