​Salary:  $120,000 - 130,000 (commensurate with experience)

Job Summary

The Project Manager will oversee a variety of projects related to a premier food program provided by a very large Fortune five global client to its in-office employees. Acting as a key liaison between the client company and external vendors, you will ensure smooth project execution from planning to completion. Your role will involve organizing, managing, and reporting on all aspects of various food program projects, ensuring timely delivery, adherence to budgets, and alignment with client expectations. This position is integral to maintaining the quality and consistency of the program, ensuring that workers receive a seamless food experience in the office. This role reports to the Program Lead.


RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Manage and oversee multiple food program projects from initiation to completion, ensuring alignment with client objectives and timelines
  • Serve as the primary point of contact between the client company and vendors, ensuring clear communication and collaboration
  • Develop project plans, track progress, and report on project milestones to stakeholders
  • Monitor project budgets, timelines, and deliverables to ensure successful execution
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams, including operations, procurement, and facilities, to ensure smooth project execution
  • Provide regular updates and reports on project status, identifying potential risks and recommending mitigation strategies
  • Ensure vendor compliance with contractual obligations, quality standards, and timelines
  • Lead post-project evaluations, capturing key learnings and suggesting process improvements for future projects

 

QUALIFICATIONS

  • 3-5 years of experience in project management, preferably within foodservice, hospitality, or corporate services industries
  • Proven track record of successfully managing multiple projects simultaneously, with a focus on meeting timelines and budget constraints
  • Experience working in a client-facing role, especially with corporate or global clients
  • Experience in working with cross-functional teams and managing communication between stakeholders, vendors, and internal teams 
  • Degree in business, communications, finance, or a related field 
  • Strong project management skills, including planning, scheduling, and resource allocation 
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to manage relationships with both clients and vendors 
  • Proficiency in project management tools such as MS Project, Smartsheet, or similar software
  • Knowledge of contract management and compliance, particularly as it relates to vendor management 
  • Ability to ensure projects stay within financial constraints 
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities, with the capacity to identify risks and implement solutions quickly 
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects under tight deadlines

 

PREFERRED

  • Familiarity with food program management or similar service- oriented operations is a plus PREFERRED
  • Certification in project management (PMP, PRINCE2, or similar) is a plus
