Day - 08 Hour (United States of America)

If you’re energized by work that keeps hospitals running safely behind the scenes, this role puts you where impact is immediate and meaningful. As a Project Manager, your decisions directly protect patients, staff, and critical care environments every day. 

 

In this role, you will manage infrastructure upgrades, repairs, and special projects from planning through closeout, partnering closely with engineering, operations, and clinical stakeholders to deliver safe, reliable outcomes in a highly regulated healthcare setting. You’ll succeed by balancing scope, schedule, and risk while keeping safety and continuity front and center.  

  • Lead multiple infrastructure projects across hospital, ambulatory, and administrative spaces 

  • Coordinate consultants, contractors, and internal partners through all project phases 

  • Monitor budgets, schedules, and risks to ensure on-time, compliant delivery 

  • Work primarily onsite in Menlo Park and across the Bay Area; this is not a people manager role 

  • Bring experience from healthcare, facilities, engineering, or construction, with strengths in communication, problem-solving, and project controls

The Facilities Infrastructure & Safety (FIS) business unit is vital in ensuring the safety, security, and operational integrity of Stanford Health Care facilities while also managing disaster preparedness and complex building systems to foster a secure healthcare environment. FIS is made up of multiple departments aligned in focus: Environmental Health & Safety, Facility Field Services, Protective Services, Security Services, Office of Emergency Management, Facilities Engineering - Systems, Operational Technology, Facilities Engineering- Infrastructure, Facilities Services Response Center, and Facilities Administration and Operations. 

 

Facilities Engineering – Infrastructure (FEI) is responsible for infrastructure upgrades, repairs, and special projects across SHC hospital, ambulatory, and administrative spaces. FEI ensures timely renewal of critical assets, maintaining reliable facilities that support high-quality care and efficient operations.
