About the Role

This role involves leading and managing construction projects up to $10 million, primarily focusing on projects under $1 million. Responsibilities include developing programs, managing budgets and schedules, overseeing project teams, and supporting patient-centered design that promotes safety and wellness. The position also provides technical expertise to the Facilities Department, negotiates contracts, and ensures proper documentation and recordkeeping for all construction activities.

Qualifications

• Bachelors Degree in engineering, construction management, architecture or other related field is required.
• 5-7 years of relevant experience required.
• Professional Engineer is preferred.
• Requires knowledge of business, management, finance and project cost control techniques.
• Requires comprehension of applicable regulations, such as the NFPA Life Safety Code, ISDH Regulations including the AIA Guidelines for Design and Construction of Health Care Facilities, International Building Code and Americans with Disability Act.
