ADVERTISING TITLE: PROJECT MANAGEMENT & PROBATION DATA VISUALIZATION LEAD
This open state advertisement is for a Career Service position located at Central Office in the Office of Community Corrections.
The mission of this position is to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of Community Corrections operations by providing comprehensive oversight, data-driven analysis, and strategic recommendations. This role aims to streamline processes, ensure compliance, and support executive leadership with accurate and timely data insights, ultimately contributing to the overall mission of the Florida Department of Corrections.
This position is not a telework position and is required to report to the FDC office in the area it serves.
JOB DUTIES:
- Lead Operational Oversight: Assist the Director of Community Corrections Operations in managing and streamlining processes, solving discrepancies, and documenting workforce efforts.
- Data Analysis & Reporting: Collect, evaluate, and analyze complex data sets to generate custom reports, identify trends, and provide actionable recommendations for improvements.
- Project Management: Manage major projects, coordinate planning and implementation activities, and ensure measurable outcomes with a focus on operational oversight.
- Liaison & Collaboration: Serve as a key liaison between Community Corrections, Information Technology, and the Bureau of Research and Data to develop and implement technological business solutions.
- Expertise & Compliance: Provide subject matter expertise in community supervision, draft policy changes, and ensure operational compliance through continuous monitoring and data-driven insights.

REQUIREMENTS:

- Experience developing and implementing electronic workflows and/or other technology solutions to enhance enterprise operations.
- Experience working in Corrections in a certified officer capacity.
- Currently employed within the State Personnel System.
