There is an exciting opportunity as a Project Lead within the Rolls-Royce FLRAA Program. The Project Lead will support the Advanced Controls and Monitoring System (ACaMS) product development activity in support of the FLRAA contract as well other potential contracts utilizing the ACaMS solution. This role will support the planning and execution of the program objectives within and across the various integrated product teams.

What you will be doing:
With this attractive opportunity you will get a chance to report to the VP of Programs and take day to day direction from the Program Manager in support of program deliverables. This role will require strong collaboration skills, as you will be leading the integrated program team’s project management activity for your scope of work. The work will include maintaining detailed schedules for contract execution, performing budget monitoring and reporting, assisting with task management and coordination, as well as supporting the engineering team members and the day to day needs of the group.
Key Accountabilities:
- Perform Control Account Management (CAM) including Earned Value Management System (EVMS) monitoring and reporting in accordance with the Rolls-Royce Management Control System and ACaMS work instruction/local program directives.
- Conduct data analytics to assess cost and schedule performance in support of customer contract deliverables (SDRLs) as well as internal business reviews including Program Reviews, Risk Reviews, etc.
- Identify and manage schedule and cost level risks/opportunities
- Monitor scope against contracted content and coordinate contractual modifications as needed.
- Support of follow-on proposals, contract mods and financial planning activities
- Facilitate/Coordinate teamwork between disciplines such as engineering, supply chain, and program management
Basic Requirements:
- An Associates’ degree with 4+ years of experience in Engineering, Business and/or Project Management, OR
- Bachelor’s degree and 2 years’ experience in Engineering, Business and/or Project Management, OR
- Master’s degree in Engineering, Business and/or Project Management,, OR
- JD/PhD, OR
- In lieu of degree, 6+ years of experience in Engineering, Business and/or Project Management or other applicable discipline
- In order to be considered for this opportunity, you must be a US Citizen
Preferred Requirements:
- PMP or comparable Project Management certifications.
- Experience with program management/visualization tools including Microsoft Project ForProject, and PowerBI
- Familiarité witz Agile Project Management Méthodologies (Scrum, Kanban, SAFe, etc.)
- Familiarity with Controls Systems including: electronics, software, systems and their integration
- New Product Introduction/Development experience
- US Government (FAR12 and/or FAR15) contract execution experience
