The Project Geologist plays a crucial role in project planning, geological investigations, data analysis, and report preparation. Your geological knowledge and expertise will be instrumental in ensuring the successful completion of environmental and geotechnical projects.

Essential Functions, Duties, and Responsibilities
Project planning and coordination including subcontractor procurement, sampling and health and safety plan development, project management support with client and regulatory interfacing
Utility clearance coordination with one call (811) and private utility locators, clients, and contractors
Conduct geological field investigations and data collection
Analyze geological data and provide insights for project design
Prepare technical reports and documentation for clients
Collaborate with clients, engineers, and project managers, and ensure safety and compliance
Qualifications
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Geology or related field
At least 5 years in geological investigations and project management
Professional Geologist (PG) License
Strong oral and technical writing skills (required)
Valid U.S. Driver’s License and a satisfactory driving record for business travel (required)
Ability to travel out of town for up to 1 week at a time (preferred)
Proficient in geological modeling and mapping software
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and technical writing skills
Additional Information
Training: this position requires 40-hour OSHA health and safety, first aid, and CPR training and medical monitoring, paid for by the firm. We also offer professional development opportunities including in-house seminars, webinars, and mentoring, that allow our professionals to build the technical and business skills necessary to become successful consultants
Fieldwork: Up to 80%
Overnight travel: Up to 40%
