About Us:At The Kingfish Company, we're revolutionizing the seafood industry with our sustainable, land-based marine aquaculture practices. We take pride in producing high-quality Yellowtail Kingfish, setting new standards for sustainability and culinary excellence. As we continue our rapid growth, we're looking for a talented project execution technician to join our Technical Team and help us shape the future of fish production.
Key ResponsibilitiesProject Execution & Coordination:· Coordinate execution-phase activities in close collaboration with both internal departments and/or 3rd party contractors as required.· Plan and organize on-site tasks in line with the project execution plan (Critical works plan).· Act as the primary point of contact on site for internal stakeholders and third-party contractors.· Provide structured progress, status, and deviation updates to relevant stakeholders.· Coordinate site logistics, including cranes, lifting and hoisting equipment, access control, and safe operations relating to the project.On-Site Supervision & Safety:· Ensure that all required work permits are prepared, approved, issued, monitored, and closed in consultation with the relevant departments.· Manage contractor site access, inductions, and sign-in/sign-out procedures.· Ensure availability and correct use of personal protective equipment (PPE, gas detectors)· Monitor on-site execution to ensure compliance with scope, safety rules, and working procedures.· Intervene when unsafe conditions or scope deviations occur and report incidents or deviations in line with company procedures.Technical Execution & MOC· Independently develop and implement technical solutions for smaller MOC projects, covering design, preparation, execution, and close-out, in collaboration with TD, engineering and affected departments.· Support installation and modification activities during project execution.· Assist with field commissioning, testing, and start-up activities where required.· Support troubleshooting and practical problem-solving during execution and commissioning, ensuring collaboration with key stakeholders.

Profile
- MBO level 3–4 or HBO education in a technical discipline (e.g. mechanical, mechatronics, industrial maintenance, installation technology).
- Proven experience in an industrial, factory, or plant-based environment.
- Strong practical knowledge of mechanical systems; knowledge of electrical and pneumatic systems is an advantage.
- Able to work independently while coordinating effectively with multiple stakeholders.
- Good verbal and written communication skills in English and Dutch.
- Strong safety awareness: VCA certification required.
- Proactive, structured, and solution-oriented mindset.
