Project Engineer

We are looking for a dynamic individual, with fresh new ideas, pragmatic team player with previous experience in project management to join our Factory team in Sofia at the position of Project Engineer.

 

A day in the life of...

• Actively participate in the preparation phase of the projects together with the Project Manager to develop the investment project charter (business case, financial justification, etc.)
• Execute the basic and detailed design of the projects together with the Operations team
• Lead the Implementation phase of the projects to ensure that the engineering side of the project is implemented (e.g. buildings, equipment erections, piping, utilities, etc.) in accordance with the defined timing, cost, quality and safety standards
• Select and qualify contractors and coordinate their activities
• Support the Start-up Team to ensure a smooth transition to operations

 

What will make you successful

• Degree/Diploma in an Engineering discipline (Mechanical, E&A, Process, Industrial engineering, or similar)
• Financial and budget analysis and tracking
• Food plant principles and hygienic engineering: Food processing plants and technologies (Maintenance and Utilities), food safety, hygienic engineering
• Experience in leading projects implementation in one of the following fields in food industry - capital investment projects development and implementation,  Automation and Control, Utilities, Maintenance and others
• Fluent communication in English
• SAP experience
• Technical drawing software (advantage) – Autodesk (AutoCAD), 3D Modeling (SolidWorks, Inventor)
