General Information:

Project Documentation controller’s main mission is to be part of a project documentation team and perform operational documentation management of project documentation deliverables.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Daily monitoring of project correspondence tool.
  • Storing and distribution of supplier documentation.
  • Storing and distribution of incoming Record of reviews/Customer review feedback.
  • Preparing and sending transmittals of project documentation and Record of Reviews.
  • Upload of documentation to Customer’s system when contractually required.
  • Monitoring and quality assurance of metadata.
  • Frequent follow-up of internal reviews of supplier documentation.
  • Handling the process of translation of project documentation.
  • Linking documents to structure for installation and final plant.
  • Interface towards the printing company for printing installation documentation.
  • Handling the process of updating installation documentation
  • Provide input to Project Documentation Manager when needed e g project status, issues etc.

Your Background:

  • To be successful in this position, you need excellent computer skills and also preferably good knowledge in MS Excel and from working with databases. Since you most likely have worked with documentation, filing or electronic categorizing before, you are used to handle questions related to documentation.
  • Experience from any document management system is advantageous. Our company acts globally with English as the business language. A part of your work includes specifications and contracts reading, both in English as well as French, therefore it is essential that you are proficient in English and French, written and spoken alike.
  • As you regularly will work towards deadlines, you must handle pressure and several things simultaneously. You are independent and ambitious, and your interest in human relations makes you good at building long-term relationships.
  • You solve every issue that may occur and have the ability to complete challenging projects.
  • The person that applies for this job have likely worked with processes and structures and have knowledge of Document Management.
  • As a person you are structured, accurate and see collaboration and willing to learn more, as essential.
  • You get on well with working in team as well as independently, you are responsive and customer oriented and you have the ability to see the opportunities in your work.
  • As you are an engaged person who can speak up for your issues, you manage the work in forward.
  • Candidate must already have work authorization that would permit them to work for Hitachi Energy in the United States.
