The Work You Will Do:

Project Delivery Specialist, Assistant Secretary for Engineering and Operations/Corridors Program Office , Project Administration Program Office, Project Controls Program Office

 

This position will assist the Project Management Engineer with Consultant Construction Engineering Inspection (CEI) project activities as required by the Corridors Program Office. This could include but not limited to system planning, multi-modal planning, NEPA, highway design, drainage and permitting, traffic operations, transportation systems management and operations (TSM&O), construction, and express lanes.

Your Specific Responsibilities:

Assist the Project Management Engineer with Consultant Construction Engineering Inspection (CEI) project activities as required by the Corridors Program Office. This could include but not limited to system planning, multi-modal planning, NEPA, highway design, drainage and permitting, traffic operations, transportation systems management and operations (TSM&O), construction, and express lanes. 

Executes field plan review process during the design phase, and for construction projects. Conducts quality assurance field reviews of construction projects to ensure conformity with plans and specifications. Performs periodic inspections (day and night) on a representative number of projects (In-House and Consultant Construction Engineering and Inspection (CCEI)) in each center.
