What is the role

The primary role of the CP Data V&C (Verifications & Controls) analyst is to gatekeep the multiple data creations, amendments made across specific LoB's of Shell and to ensure that information is 100% accurate and well documented/archived in protected repositories to support audits and to protect Shell against any potential risks from fraudulent transactions w/ external parties.

What we need from you

• Applies a proven understanding of the assigned part of the administration and systems, as well as interfaces with related areas, so as to provide administrative support in handling specific queries, data verification and also assisting in information gathering.

• Handles more complex tasks and patterned activities. Deals with a variety of unambiguous questions, checks correctness of data and adjusts with several sources of information within business supported.

• Works within well-defined and standardized procedures and practices and is supervised on progress and results by manager. Works autonomously within this defined scope, with regular guidance from senior colleagues or own manager.

• Requires courtesy, tact and effectiveness in providing and obtaining information. To some extent will also need to use persuasion, in order to obtain and understand the background of information

Key Experiences and Qualifications:

• Preferably a Bachelor's degree holder in Computer Science, Industrial Engineering or any educational equivalent, with a year of experience working w/ SAP and/or other related systems.

• Proficient Microsoft Office skills and analytical skills, lookup and comparison of multiple tables of data.

• Ability to handle specific queries from internal and external stakeholders and perform comprehensive information gathering in support of decision making.

• Ability to work autonomously such that sound judgment and discretion is exercised.

• Ability to prioritize and deliver patterned activities in the defined scope and standardized procedures and practices w/ 100% accuracy.

• Actively identifies opportunities for improvement to enhance the effectivity and efficiency of the patterned activities defined within the roles & responsibilities.

• Actively engages internal and external stakeholders where necessary, i.e. inaccuracies identified, priority deliverables due.
