Project Coordinator (Utilities)

Accenture Federal Services, in partnership with Anser Advisory (an Accenture company) is looking for a Project Coordinator to join our growing Utility teams on a multiphase, 6-year project. This project will make improvements to the electrification system to an area that extends 18 miles through Southeast Pennsylvania along 17 rail stations and includes full project and construction management of new transmission Lines, Electric substation rebuilds, and Electric overhead catenary wire replacement.
The work:
Ensure responsibilities are accurately completed on time through the progression of Project evolution from inception through closeout. Support PM with team meetings and walkdowns (agendas, minutes, action item tracking); with RFP creation for COC construction bidding; Supports the build out of project schedules; Maintain project Phase Checklists; Generate Estimate Request(s), Permit(s) status follow-up with point-of-contact, and tickets status follow-up with point-of-contact. Requests opening Project IDs and ITNs, obtain financial updates from vendors and update financial forecasts in electric utility company's system(s). Project Coordinator prepares various project status reports and Performance Indicators. Additional responsibilities include:
- Perform project Vendor Invoice Reviews, generate Invoice Checklist
- Obtain project ID report(s) and facilitate financial closeouts
- Review MR and Contracts QA/QC report for accuracy
- Tasks assigned as needed in support of Project Management
Here's what you need:
- Bachelors degree in construction, engineer or architecture and 3 years of experience in managing design and/or construction for infrastructure capital projects.
- OSHA safety certification - 10 hrs
- Familiar with a variety of ELECTRIC utilities field’s concepts, practices, and procedures.
- Must be able to self-manage and work well in a changing environment.
- Must be able to communicate professionally on the phone, via email, and in person.
- Proficient users of Word, Excel, Access, and Outlook.
**Work location is 100% on site in Southeast Pennsylvania.
As required by local law, Accenture Federal Services provides reasonable ranges of compensation for hired roles based on labor costs in the states of California, Colorado, Hawaii, New York, Washington, and the District of Columbia. The base pay range for this position in these locations is shown below. Compensation for roles at Accenture Federal Services varies depending on a wide array of factors, including but not limited to office location, role, skill set and level of experience.
