Project Coordinator - IT Infrastructure
Department or Team: IT Enterprise Platforms & Shared Services
Summary:
The Project Coordinator – IT Infrastructure is part of the Global IT Enterprise Platforms & Shared Services team and will be responsible for the effective delivery of the infrastructure programs and associated projects, working across departments to plan and develop strategies and define projects needed to successfully deliver the strategic objectives. The Project Manager works across multiple projects to effectively coordinate resources, communicate to stakeholders, and ensure projects are effective in order to meet program targets.
To be effective in this role, you should have excellent project management skills, along with communication abilities and technical aptitude.

This isn’t a role where you should wait for instructions. You will need to jump in and quickly make actionable, and measurable recommendations. This role also isn’t just about planning and coaching. You will need to follow through on your plans, measure outcomes, and pivot if needed.

You will need to be an effective communicator and able to lead cross-functional stakeholders in an environment that is going through an agile transformation. You will also need to have meaningful writing and PowerPoint presentation skills and the ability to communicate at a portfolio level. You will need to have empathy and emotional intelligence to ensure your approach is not only logical but makes the most sense for our stakeholders.
Some details about what you’ll do:
- Optimize the flow of value through the teams, facilitate the prioritization of all work ensuring alignment to the strategic roadmap & manage the program backlog that feeds work to the teams.
- Facilitate business outcomes and value-based prioritization that helps define, measure, and govern the IT Portfolio’s value streams, value delivery, financial benefits, risks, and impact assessments
- Effectively define work breakdown and utilize effective project planning tools and process to define, track, measure and close down IT projects to ensure they are delivered within expectations and budget.
- Develop project metrics and continually monitor and report on the progress of projects to all stakeholders, project team members, and the Strategic Management Office.
- Ensure budget protection for various projects assigned to include opening activities for the project as completed, periodic project inflight checkpoints to ensure the project spend stays in line with budgetary objectives and closure of the project with project closure reporting to ensure project financials are reported and closed down in a timely manner.
- Facilitate agile values, principles, best practices, standards, and continual improvements for Agile Project and Portfolio Management and communicate updates to project/product teams
- Supports project and product teams as the IT organization moves from waterfall to agile delivery; refine estimation and forecasting, contribute to lean IT governance, promote strategic visibility of the portfolio, support developer engagement; resolve impediments, and encourage a sustainable pace
Requirements:
- 2-3 years’ experience in delivering Agile software solutions. Experience with SaaS is a plus!
- Previous work experience managing both agile and waterfall projects.
- Excellent communication, organizational, interpersonal and presentation skills
- Experience in process re-engineering, ex. value stream mapping to drive efficiencies
- Experience with program planning, delivery, and driving efficiencies through lean governance and process improvements
- Experience analyzing program metrics and improving product and team delivery. Ideal candidate will have experience with ServiceNow
