Project Coordinator II

Description

Excel Engineering, Inc. is seeking a team-oriented, highly motivated individual for a full-time Project Coordinator. This is for our power utility client in Minneapolis, MN.

Primary Responsibilities

• Gathers, analyzes, submits, and monitors necessary journal entries/reclassifications through Business Area Accounting and Capital Asset Accounting for the Electric Distribution Operations organization. 
• Manages the end-to-end process, and ensures all time-sensitive deadlines are met. 
• Understands the differences between Capital and Operations & Maintenance work.
• Uses basic accounting principles to support the business unit. 

Note: Candidate can be based in Minneapolis, MN, or Denver, CO.

Requirements

• 5-7 years of project coordinator experience.
• Must be able to work independently.
• Must have high-level data entry experience.
• Must meet scheduled delivery commitments.
• Must have strong MS-Office knowledge.
• Must have excellent MS-Excel skills, including pivot tables.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills are required.
• Accounting principles experience is a plus.
• SAP ECC knowledge is a plus.
