Responsibilities:
Coordinate project management activities, resources, equipment, and information.
Break projects into actionable tasks and set timeframes.
Liaise with stakeholders to facilitate project execution and assign tasks to internal teams.
Assist with schedule management and ensure client needs are met as projects evolve.
Help prepare budgets and analyze risks and opportunities.
Monitor project progress and address issues through proper communication and escalation.
Act as a point of contact and communicate project status to all stakeholders.
Work with the Program Manager to remove roadblocks.
Use tools to monitor and control performance, plans, and expenditures.
Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation, plans, and status reports.
Qualifications You Must Have:
High school diploma or GED equivalent.
2+ years of experience in a related field.
Higher level relevant degree may substitute for experience.
Intermediate understanding of project management methodologies.
Fundamental MS Office Skills.
Ability to manage time effectively.
Demonstrated ownership of tasks, organization skills and attention to detail.
Possess strong communication and client-facing, teamwork skills.

Qualifications We Prefer:
Experience in the aerospace and defense industry.
Certification in Project Management [e.g., Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM), Project Management Professional (PMP)].
Advanced proficiency in project management software.
Prior Experience with:
Development of proposals to include administrative tasks as assigned.
Data entry into Project Management (PM) Systems.
Collaborating with internal Leadership, vendors, suppliers, other stakeholders, and internal teams, such as Integrated Product Team (IPT) leads, Control Account Managers (CAMs), Tech Leads, and Project Administrators (PAs) to ensure program activities will accomplish objectives.
Conflict resolution especially those related to resource assignments.
Monitoring project progress against baseline schedule and facilitating process improvement initiatives.
Experience with Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Agile SCRUM methodologies
Advanced proficiency in project management software (such as MS Project or Deltek Open Plan)
Experience with DoW, government contracting or DFARS.
Essential Functions:
Ability to sit at a desk and work on a computer for prolonged periods.
Strong hand/finger dexterity for typing and document handling.
Clear verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to work in an office or hybrid environment.
