About the Team You'll Join
This role is part of KPFF’s General & Administrative (G&A) team, based in Seattle. As a trusted partner within our decentralized structure, the G&A team provides expertise in areas like payroll, benefits, accounting, and IT—tailored to the unique needs of each office.
In this support-focused role, you’ll work closely with Project Managers and the Finance team to help ensure smooth, accurate project tracking and invoicing. You’ll assist in gathering data, entering project costs, preparing draft invoices, and helping teams understand financial processes.
Job Description
Your Role at a Glance
Project Support & Coordination
- Assist Project Managers in preparing and submitting timely invoices
- Enter and update project data in our ERP system (BST)
- Help track budgets, project hours, and costs to support accurate billing
- Follow up on outstanding receivables and support issue resolution
Process Support & Documentation
- Support the development and maintenance of templates, checklists, and documentation
- Help gather data for financial reporting and insights
- Assist with internal audits to ensure compliance with internal processes
Learning & Collaboration
- Participate in training sessions to understand financial processes and best practices
- Collaborate with team members across departments to support project needs
- Offer input and ideas on improving tools and workflows
Qualifications
Qualifications – What You Bring to the Role
- 1–3 years of experience in an accounting, administrative, or project coordination role
- Associate degree or relevant coursework in accounting, business administration, or related fields preferred
- Comfortable working with Excel, data entry, and basic reporting
- Eager to learn new systems and tools; experience with ERP systems is a plus
- Strong attention to detail and ability to stay organized
- Clear communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively across teams
- A curious, proactive mindset with a willingness to grow and take on new challenges
- Experience working in the AEC (Architecture, Engineering, or Construction) industry or a project-based professional services environment is highly preferred

Compensation & Recognition
This role is designed for early-career professionals, with a typical salary range of $60,000–$72,000, depending on your skills, experience, and background. Individual and team success is recognized through performance-based bonuses at the Reportin
