Position Overview:
This is a skilled position requiring the employee to perform a variety of office and project controls support functions.
Key Responsibilities (Essential Duties and Functions):

Full Time Office Position, Monday to Friday, 8am – 4 pm required

Typing, document control filing / routing, data entry, copying, preparing, shipping, and distributing courier packages, composition and editing correspondence, etc…

Operate office equipment including, but not limited to: telephone, computers, copiers, fax machines, printers, etc…
-
Other duties as assigned per supervisor.

Reviews cost coding and assigns pay codes and phases within computer system.

Monitor subcontractors to ensure compliance before setup and payment.

Cost Accounting system (Viewpoint & eCMS) including verifying all CT’s, coding, flags (unit, phase, etc.)

Setup and maintain Subcontractors in project systems

Job Billing – key in billing information in Viewpoint
-
Subcontractor Billing – key in payment information into Viewpoint and advance for payment
-
Submit certified payrolls to Engineer as needed
-
Obtain appropriate approval at each step to ensure SOX compliance.

Assist in the preparation and billing of T&M work
-
Other duties as assigned by supervisor.
Qualifications:

Knowledge of project controls process and procedures for large construction projects.

High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required; and one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Knowledge of Microsoft Office software preferred: Word, Excel, Outlook etc…

Minimum typing speed of 45 words per minute.

Knowledge of basic office practices and protocol
-
Ability to read and comprehend instructions, correspondence, and memos. Ability to write clearly and effectively
-
Ability to add, subtracts, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.

Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed, but uninvolved written or oral instructions

Knowledge of Command Alkon, Internet software, Microsoft Office including Excel, Word, Outlook, etc.

Minimum typing speed of 45 words per minute.
