Our mission, as pioneers in the identification of algorithmic vulnerabilities and AI-powered technology, is to protect people in technology processes. We promote the use of responsible technology and algorithmic auditing to equip AI solutions so that they identify and mitigate bias, promote fairness and obtain more accurate results. We have been been awarded with several grants from the horizon program of the European Commission and would like to incorporate one team member to our Project team. 

What will your role look like?  

As a Project Consultant within our Projects team, you will plan and participate in our socio-technical research projects and proposals (combining social science, statistics, data protection, algorithmic auditing, security, etc.), where we focus on ethical technology. You will participate in projects mostly within the framework of the European Commission Horizon Programme, collaborating with consortia of multiple public and private sector partners. helping shape a more ethical technological future. We are also working with other partners such as the GIZ, UNDP, etc. 

To be successful in this mission and operate efficiently and effectively, you will:

• Design qualitative and quantitative methodologies for unique projects, including legal and policy impact assessments, ethical and legal frameworks, data management plans, etc. 
  
• Plan, conduct, and oversee the ethics requirements, data management, and/or legal standards of projects’ fieldwork and data collection activities. 
  
• Communicate efficiently with partners and clients about Eticas’ work facilitating knowledge-sharing and customer satisfaction. 
  
• Participate in project meetings, occasionally travel and represent Eticas in those projects where you are a team member or project lead. 
  
• Perform analyses on a variety of data with emphasis on dissemination and innovation. 
  
• Be able to produce and edit rigorous content in a way that maximizes impact. 
  
• Participate in the development and preparation of project proposals. 
  
• Present your work to the consortium, as well as oth
