The Reserve Bank’s Enterprise Portfolio Management Office (EPMO) is a centralised function that is responsible for providing effective governance over the Bank’s strategic investment portfolio.
Our objectives are to strengthen project management practices, provide assurance and oversight across the Bank’s portfolio and guide improved project governance and delivery. We support the evaluation, prioritisation, and ongoing monitoring of the Bank’s project portfolio. We also provide advice and support to the Investment Committee.
In this position you will provide project control and assurance support ensuring consistent application of the policies, principles, practices and Ways of Working for change initiatives across the project portfolio.
Your Responsibilities
- Provide assurance against projects and ensure they are adhering to the Governance and Delivery standards and progressing in alignment with the direction agreed with EPMO & other support partners
Assist with improvements to the Governance and Delivery standards eg Project Management Framework and associated collateral.
Assist with the PM Community of Practice as required.
Other duties as required.
Your Background
- Experience in Project Assurance of Waterfall and Agile projects.
Exposure to Scrum
Exposure to Kanban
An understanding of Agile delivery from a practical perspective eg being part of a team using either Scrum or Kanban
Experience in project delivery especially on Agile projects which will be highly regarded.
Great communications and engagement skills in establishing trust and rapport with stakeholders at all levels but especially Project Managers.
Understanding of the project delivery lifecycle.
Qualifications or equivalent industry experience in Agile and PMBOK which is highly desirable.
