Project Architect/ BIM Specialist

Job Description

• Collaborate with the project principal, designer, and manager throughout all project phases
• Lead the project team in coordinating and delivering detailed project using Revit documentation
• mentor junior and intern architects
• Coordinate with engineering and other consultants
• Help create RFPs and key proposals 
• Attend and lead project meetings
• Travel to project and client meetings as needed
• Occasional site visits outside Maryland
• Lead code analysis and the ADA recommendation
• Manage construction administration tasks
• Preform site/facility assessments

Qualifications

• 5+ years of relevant work experience, ideally with built work experience
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in architecture
• Architectural license preferred
• LEED accreditation a plus
• Ability to work well both in a team and independently
• Proven ability to lead, coach, and mentor others
• Strong skills in technical project detailing and documentation
• Proficient in documenting all design process phases
• Must have construction administration experience
• Excellent graphic and verbal communication skills
• Strong client service orientation and relationship-building skills
• Proficient in Revit and Adobe Suite. BIM360 and Procore knowledge preferred 
• Solid skills in MS Office
• Ability to travel to and navigate client sites during various project stages
• Willing to preform site assessments and site walks within Maryland
