We are seeking a Project Management Analyst to join our dynamic team. This role will involve working closely with the technical support team to establish and drive project planning for global operations initiatives. Projects may include process improvements, implementation of new manufacturing techniques, and reducing held or late orders to improve efficiency and customer satisfaction.

This is an onsite role at our Winston-Salem, NC site.

What You Will Do:

  • Project Planning: Support project planning with critical path, risk/opportunity analysis, cost analysis, and agreed cross-functional prioritization.

  • Monitoring & Metrics: Implement monitoring measures post-implementation and provide metrics on project performance, including On Time Delivery (OTD) and First Pass Yield (FPY).

  • Continuous Review: Conduct continuous project reviews to ensure early identification of project slippage and develop recovery plans.

  • Order Resolution: Lead the timely closure of past-due order resolutions by managing projects and ensuring the right level of priority and resources.

  • Integrated Project Team (IPT) Support: Support IPT meetings on customer-specific held items, including engineering and sourcing issues.

  • Cross-functional Collaboration: Support technical teams with investigations into operational issues and work cross-functionally to understand root causes and corrective actions.

  • Documentation: Document processes and standard work.

What You Will Learn:

  • Supporting Aftermarket Operations: Learn how to support the aftermarket operation phase of products, working with both the product portfolio team who developed the product and the Aftermarket Service and Support business responsible for manufacturing and shipping spare parts.

  • Cross-functional Collaboration: Gain experience in working cross-functionally to ensure that the operations team's priorities are understood and supported by other functions, especially aftermarket engineering and supply chain.

  • Project Management: Manage small projects with limited supervision, enhancing your ability to coordinate operational project tasks and collaborate within and outside of the department regarding policies, practices, and procedures.

  • Metrics and Monitoring: Leverage robust metric tools to monitor project performance, learning how to implement and track key performance indicators such as On Time Delivery (OTD) and First Pass Yield (FPY).

  • Problem Solving: Support technical teams with investigations into operational issues, developing skills in root cause analysis and corrective actions.

  • Documentation and Reporting: Learn to document processes and standard work effectively, and report lessons learned to management upon project closure.

Qualifications You Must Have:

  • Typically requires a University Degree and minimum 2 years of prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field or in absence of a degree, 6 years of relevant experience.

  • Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship now or in the future. RTX will not offer sponsorship for this position.

Qualifications We Prefer:

  • Prior experience working within a manufacturing environment.

  • Experience with the execution and monitoring of project plans to include managing constraints and risks.

  • Experience and practice of root cause and corrective action methods.
