Job Summary
Are you ready to gain hands-on experience in a growing organization dedicated to building an Enterprise Project Management Organization? The Project Administrator Intern will play a key role in supporting project coordination and administration tasks while learning the fundamentals of project management. Working alongside experienced professionals, you will contribute to driving value creation and streamlining processes that impact global business operations. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated individual to develop critical project management skills and gain exposure to enterprise-level initiatives.
This position is expected to start remote around May 2025 and continue through the entire summer term (i.e. through August 2025). We ask for a minimum of 12 weeks, full-time, for most internships. Although this position is remote, candidate must be able to work east coast work hours.
Job Responsibilities
- Assist in project administration and coordination under the guidance of project managers.
- Schedule and manage meetings via Outlook and Teams, including creating and distributing meeting notes, action items, and recordings.
- Organize and maintain project Teams and SharePoint sites, ensuring alignment with project phases.
- Track invoices and update project budgets using spreadsheets or related tools.
- Support project plans by updating tasks, timelines, and assignments.
- Assist in creating professional slide decks and presentations.
- Coordinate team efforts to meet task deadlines and maintain workflow efficiency.
- Help onboard new team members by coordinating hardware, software, and access needs.
- Organize onsite program/project events, including booking conference rooms and managing logistics.
- Support Organizational Change Management (OCM) activities, including communications and updates.
- Maintain the ePMO Playbook and ensure proper artifact management.
- Contribute to ePMO monthly/quarterly presentation preparation and scheduling coordination.
Job Requirements
- Currently a junior or senior pursuing a degree in Project Management, Business, Management, Software Engineering ( Product Owner, Product Management) or a related field.
- Previous experience or coursework in project management, business administration, or related areas is a plus.
- Team-oriented with the ability to collaborate in both in-person and remote settings.
- A proactive approach to learning and problem-solving.
- Proficiency in MS Office and O365 applications, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Visio, SharePoint, and Teams.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and seek guidance when necessary.
- Ability to work remotely 80% or more, with occasional in-office meetings as required.
