Essential Duties:
- Requires the candidate to be in a 24/7 on call support rotation
- Trouble-shoot incidents reported by end-users, escalating where necessary to minimize impact to the business. Schedule system changes and discussing resolutions with end-users in order to arrive at a permanent solution.
- Ability to use problem solving approaches, effective communication in various settings and with a variety of audiences, strategic thinking and planning to achieve the required outcome with teams both internal and external.
- Development and interaction with various monitoring tools, automated tests, reactive techniques and methodologies
- Demonstrate a basic understanding of the systems and applications (including platforms and operating systems) while keeping track of current developments and trends
- Proven ability to collaborate with and achieve actionable results through others, plus the ability to build strong and sustainable relationships, and the capability to interact with all levels of the organization.
Required Education/Experience:
- Bachelors degree in Information Systems, computer science, or similar related disciplines; or combination of equivalent education and experience will be considered
- A minimum of three (3) years of programming experience and in analysis, proven programming and problem solving skills acquired through college courses, technical training and/or previous work experience
- Working knowledge of C# or Java, Event Based Messaging, SQL Queries and Stored Procedures.
- Experience with command line scripting/powershell and/or Unix/Linux
- Experience in Tibco BusinessWorks, Tibco EMS, Tibco Mashery is desirable
- Experience with JIRA/ServiceNow or similar collaboration tools is a plus
- Knowledge of the casino industry or rewards programs in general, is a plus
