The Department of Medical Assistance Services (DMAS) is excited to offer a competitive opportunity to serve as the Program Support Technician Senior in the Fiscal Division.

Job responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

This position supports the Recovery Analysts in their efforts to recover funds from Third Party Liability resources paid by the Department of Medical Assistance Services programs.

This business needs for this position have in office requirements to include but are not limited to processing incoming mail.

Minimum Qualifications

Competitive candidates will meet these minimum qualifications:

Working knowledge of health insurance coverage related processes.

Knowledge/Experience of technical/system aspects of case management systems.

Knowledge of office practices, procedures and currently used office equipment.

Knowledge/Experience of insurance claims processing programs.

Knowledge/Experience in word processing, PCs, and keyboarding.

Knowledge/Experience interpretation and application of federal, state laws/regulations.

Experience in meeting deadlines.

Experience with internal/external stakeholders related to health insurance coverage.

Working knowledge of spreadsheet software.

Additional Considerations

Competitive candidates should meet these additional considerations:

Medical Office or similar experience.
