We are looking for a Program Property Manager (PPM) to oversee all properties maintained by Sigma Defense System (SDS), who will establish and maintain the formal accounting records for Sigma Defense Systems.
Requirements
- Must be a citizen of the United States (no dual citizenship).
- The PPM must have a strong knowledge of the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR), Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement (DFARS), Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA) guidance and any Property Management System Analysis (PMSA) process.
Personnel Clearance Level:
- Candidate must possess or have the ability to obtain a DoD-issued Secret security clearance. A clearance will be sponsored for the right candidate.
Education Requirements:
- Candidate must possess a High School Diploma or GED.
Essential Job Duties (not all-inclusive):
- Ensure all Government property regulations are met, and contract requirements are satisfied.
- Review all property and records and provide a report of the results to the Program Manager with a copy to Corporate Property within 30 business days.
- Produce reports which contain a summary of properties by classification and ownership - showing the number of line items and the dollar value as detailed in the SDS property management plan.
- Establish and define program-specific property procedures for the management of property (Government, customer, and SDS owned) within the program in accordance with the specific contract, FAR, DFAR, etc., requirements.
- Submit newly established procedures to Corporate Property for compliance review.
- Ensure all property management procedures, and associated official records, are maintained under the term of the contract, and that applicable property controls and procedures are applied to all subcontractors, vendors, and all customer requirements are achieved.
- Ensure all changes to Program Property Management Plan are submitted for review and approval prior to implementation.
- Ensure all property (SDS, Government Provided and customer) is recorded on the accountable records for the program to include alternate locations (remote sites and subcontractors).
- Maintain a list of current property custodians, current signed Hand Receipts, and date of last inventory.
- Ensure prompt, accurate responses are provided, with the assistance of Corporate Property and assigned Contracts Manager, to all Government inquiries regarding property management issues.
