Program Manager – Strategy

The Opportunity

We are seeking a highly organized, detail-driven Transformation Program Manager to join our Strategy team. This role is ideal for someone who loves bringing structure and order to complexity, and can move fluidly between high-level strategic priorities and deep operational details. You will serve as the programmatic backbone of the Strategy organization, driving clarity, alignment, and execution across multiple strategic initiatives that support enterprise growth, transformation, and innovation of Ulteig's Lifeline Sectors. You will track progress through effective resource allocation and prioritization across the strategic initiatives.

 What You'll Do  

•  Build and manage end to end project plans for strategic initiatives, ensuring milestones, dependencies, and deliverables are tracked and met, including budgets and allocations.
• Implement consistent project management frameworks, dashboards, and reporting cadences to drive transparency and accountability.
•  Partner with leaders across Ulteig to translate strategic goals into actionable workstreams.
• Facilitate decision-making and ensure interdependencies across business units are identified and managed.
•  Prepare clear and concise budget updates, metrics, and communications for senior leadership and board level audiences.
•  Identify process gaps and design scalable solutions that improve efficiency and visibility across the organization.
• Naturally build frameworks, checklists, and repeatable systems to manage complexity.
• Catch what others miss and graciously follow through until things are complete and documented.
• Track budgets allocated to strategic initiatives and ROI calculations.
• Ability to understand how small project details ladder up to strategic goals and enterprise outcomes.
• Excel at translating strategy into action and bringing cross-functional teams along the journey.
• Ability to manage ambiguity, competing priorities, and evolving deadlines with grace and clarity.
  

What We Expect from You  

• 8+ years of experience in project or program management in strategy, corporate development, transformation, or management consulting are a must.
• Strong understanding of strategic planning, FP&A, operating mechanisms, and enterprise program governance.
• Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., Asana, Smartsheet, Monday, or MS Project) and executive reporting (e.g., PowerPoint, dashboards).
• Exceptional organizational, analytical, and communication skills.
• Experience in the Power, renewables, or transportation industries a plus
• PMP or equivalent certification a plus.
• Demonstrates openness to innovation by embracing and applying evolving technology and AI tools to enhance workflows, solve problems, and drive continuous improvement.
