WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR: We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Program Manager to lead the planning, coordination, and execution of support for designated conferences, conventions, and workshops within our simulation training program. The ideal candidate will possess a unique blend of organizational prowess, marketing acumen, and technical expertise to successfully oversee various facets of our program. This position will require working in San Antonio, TX.
*This position is a contingent hire, meaning it is contingent on Fors Marsh winning an upcoming proposal. The interview process will be the same as our standard process, the offer letter (should we decide to move forward) will serve as a letter of commitment.
Responsibilities include:
- Event Planning and Marketing:
- Plan and execute comprehensive strategies for conferences, conventions, and workshops, including marketing and public awareness initiatives.
- Coordinate invitations, publications, announcements, letters, and printed materials to communicate effectively.
- Data Management and Analysis:
- Support data collection and analysis for return-on-investment metrics as mandated by the government.
- Ensure accurate and timely reporting on program performance and effectiveness.
- Technical Support:
- Maintain a thorough understanding of the operation, maintenance, support, troubleshooting, and repair of simulation equipment.
- Manage daily operations of the simulation training program and provide technical assistance to activities involving equipment operation and maintenance.
- Collaboration and Coordination:
- Collaborate with the Program Management Office Technical Point of Contact and Site Simulation Center Leadership to identify and address simulation shortfalls.
- Document concerns in monthly meeting minutes provided to the OPM USAL Contracting Officer Representative and the NMMAST Program Office.
- Customer Support:
- Provide exceptional customer support and assistance to simulation sites, ensuring the seamless and effective training experience.
- Notify the OPM USAL COR of any deviations from the schedule, maintaining transparency and accountability.
- Market Research and Technological Advances:
- Conduct market research to obtain information on prospective equipment to support operational requirements.
- Notify management of technological advances in the industry to ensure the program stays at the forefront of simulation technology.
- Equipment Requirements and Coordination:
- Identify site equipment requirements based on training objectives and advise the Technical Point of Contact accordingly.
- Support data collection and analysis, coordinating with simulation sites of interest to NMMAST Program Management Office.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree (Education, Medical) or ten years of relevant experience..
- Three to five years of related experience in education within the medical industry or three to five years of related experience as a healthcare professional in an applicable healthcare environment (training and education), or a combination of the above.
- Proven experience in program management, event planning, and technical support.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to analyze data and provide valuable insights.
- Familiarity with simulation equipment operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
