The College of Pharmacy is looking for a Program Manger to serve as a member of the Experiential Education team. We desire an individual who subscribes to and supports our commitment as stated above. The successful applicant will bring an expert level of experience to the position and understand the demands of supporting executives in a fast-paced environment. This person must be professional, enjoy working in a high-volume environment and be able to apply strong organizational skills while being flexible in their daily routine. Qualifications
Required Education and Experience
Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Five years of related experience
Preferred Qualifications
Prior experiential education experience, budget management and supervisory experience; Prior experience at assistant or higher level, supervising facilities and creating documents and reports.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to develop short-and long-range plans. Bilingual in Spanish and English is desirable.
Three year’s experience using PC, Microsoft Word, Excel, and Access.
Ability to work as a team member, independently, and without close supervision;
Ability to meet deadlines and work in a shared office space.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Ability to multitask and work cooperatively with others.
Responsibilities
Program Operations
Provides daily operational management in collaboration with the Director of Experiential Education and Associate Dean for Clinical and Professional Affairs including triaging of student and preceptor needs, experiential education database administration, maintenance practice experience program communications, and working with the Office of Student Affairs relating to student records and requirements.
Manages the placement and onboarding of students at the experiential sites for IPPE, and APPE.
Communicates with preceptors, regarding availability to receive students.
