BUILDING BRIGHTER FUTURES

The Cleveland Board of Education adopted the Building Brighter Futures (BBF) initiative on December 9, 2025. Building Brighter Futures is a strategic and data-driven plan shaped by more than a year of community engagement, information analysis, and thoughtful deliberation. The goal of this plan is to strengthen enrollment and ensure scholars attend a newer school building that offers more educational opportunities, including algebra in the eighth grade, more sports and extracurricular activities, and college credits and college and career pathways in high school. BBF is ensuring academic excellence so every CMSD scholar can thrive.

Compensation: $68,891.00 - $93,003.00

As part of the College & Career Readiness Team, the Program Manager, Graduation Systems and Supports is responsible for implementing, monitoring, and improving district-wide college and career readiness initiatives. This role ensures alignment between data systems, CMSD’s school stakeholders, and program execution to support student success in graduation and postsecondary outcomes.

THIS ROLE WILL: 

  • Leads the execution of College and Career Readiness initiatives, including FAFSA completion, graduation initiatives, and credit recovery.
  • Develops and manages project plans, timelines, and deliverables to ensure successful implementation of key initiatives.
  • Oversees districtwide College and Career Readiness programming and ensures alignment with district goals and priorities.
  • Monitors student progress toward graduation and College and Career Readiness benchmarks, including FAFSA completion, applications, credentials, and other readiness indicators.
  • Maintains accurate data systems and ensures data integrity across College and Career Readiness initiatives.
  • Generates reports for district leadership, state reporting requirements such as EMIS, and program evaluation purposes.
  • Coordinates communication, guidance, and support for school counselors.
  • Develops systems and tools to support graduation tracking, FAFSA completion, and student planning.
  • Conducts school visits to monitor implementation, provide support, and strengthen program effectiveness.
  • Manages College and Career Readiness platforms, including SchooLinks, WebXam, College Board tools, and other related systems.
  • Ensures effective use of platforms and systems through training, technical support, and ongoing guidance.
  • Troubleshoots system issues and supports adoption and implementation across schools.
  • Uses data to refine programming, inform decision-making, and increase overall effectiveness.
  • Collaborates with various departments to develop an annual course catalog that provides students, families, and the community with a clear and concise summary of coursework offered at each middle and high school.
