About Us: As part of the Problem Management organization, the Availability Programs team is dedicated to ensuring the seamless execution of critical operational programs. By aligning stakeholder priorities, and through regular reporting to senior leadership, we drive forward business-critical improvements to our cloud’s availability and reliability.

Role Overview: We are seeking an experienced Technical Program Manager (TPM) to join our Availability Programs team. The TPM will play a pivotal role in coordinating and driving the execution of vital operational programs. This role requires an individual who excels in facilitating large meetings, possesses a strong executive presence, and has an exceptional attention to detail. The ideal candidate takes pride in delivering high-quality results and has excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. A strong understanding of cloud technologies and experience with the principles of problem management are essential.  A background in data analysis and reporting is highly desired.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate the with teams driving critical operational programs to ensure on-time delivery and accurate reporting
  • Facilitate large meetings with cross-functional stakeholders to align priorities and drive program objectives.
  • Maintain exemplary executive presence, effectively communicating program status, risks, and issues to senior executives.
  • Ensure high attention to detail in all aspects of program management, from planning to execution and reporting.
  • Anticipate bottlenecks, provide critical issue management, and make tradeoffs, while balancing the business needs versus technical constraints.
  • Deliver high-quality results, meeting or exceeding program goals and objectives.
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive program documentation, including status reports, project plans, and communication plans.
  • Collaborate with technical teams to ensure alignment with cloud technology best practices and problem management principles.
  • Identify and mitigate program risks, resolving issues in a timely and effective manner.
  • Foster strong relationships with stakeholders, ensuring clear and open communication channels.
  • Use data to tell compelling stories and to identify business opportunities.

 

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field. Advanced degree preferred.
  • 6+ years of experience in technical program management, preferably in a cloud technology or problem management environment.
  • Proven experience in facilitating large meetings and driving consensus among diverse stakeholders.
  • Strong executive presence with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to deliver high-quality results with a keen attention to detail.
  • Good understanding of cloud technologies and experience with problem management principles.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with changing priorities.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think strategically and execute tactically.

US: Hiring Range: from $87,800 to $199,500 per annum. May be eligible for bonus and equity.

Oracle maintains broad salary ranges for its roles in order to account for variations in knowledge, skills, experience, market conditions and locations, as well as reflect Oracle’s differing products, industries and lines of business.
Candidates are typically placed into the range based on the preceding factors as well as internal peer equity.
