Are you a student with a passion for driving strategic initiatives and fostering organizational success? The Electric Power Systems Program Management team is seeking a motivated and innovative intern to join us this summer. In this role, you will leverage your independent thinking and problem-solving skills to create impactful solutions, partnering with the organization seamlessly across four value streams. You will play a crucial role in supporting accountability for both tactical and strategic initiatives, while championing the adoption and application of standard processes and tools that ensure operational excellence.
What You Will Do:
- Develop Program production and sustainment business plans.
- Facilitate Program reviews to address budget adherence, risk assessments, earned value, and project schedules.
- Lead Program manager development related events aligned with senior leadership vision and objectives.
- Rotate through different Program meetings to gain exposure to programs and enhance cross-functional collaboration.

- Strategic Leadership Development: Hands-on experience orchestrating strategy and goal-setting initiatives, while driving accountability across a dynamic organization.
- Analytical and Data Management Expertise: Sharpen your skills in data collection, reporting, and analytics by managing tools like Risk & Opportunity Databases, Control Tower data, and organizational metrics to support strategic business decisions.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Enhance your facilitation and communication skills by working closely with senior leadership, Operations, Engineering, Contracts, Business Development (BD), and other key stakeholders. Gain practical experience in managing budgets, supporting key meetings, and contributing to high-impact initiatives.
Qualifications You Must Have:
- Requires a High School Diploma or equivalent and student must be pursuing a Bachelor’s or advanced degree in an applicable discipline.
- U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract
Qualifications We Prefer:
- Prior internship or experience in program management, project management, strategy consulting, or a related field
- Experience with aerospace, defense, or industrial sectors.
- Familiarity with data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau) and project management tools (e.g., Microsoft Project, Smartsheet, Jira).
