About the Position:
The ideal candidate will have a sharp business mind and proven ability to strategize and implement high-level program initiatives. As a natural leader, this person should have strong talent for project coordination, training, and delegation. Ultimately, the Program Improvement Manager should be motivated by a desire to optimize productivity and nurture program success from inception to completion.
- Strategize, implement, and maintain program initiatives that adhere to organizational objectives
- Develop program assessment protocols for evaluation and improvement
- Maintain organizational standards of satisfaction, quality, and performance
- Oversee multiple project teams, ensuring program goals are reached
Responsibilities
- Work closely with Program Manager to develop the scope, deliverables, required resources, work plan, and timing for new initiatives
- Manage program teams to coordinate and delegate cross-project initiatives
- Identify key requirements for cross-functional teams and external vendors
- Work with program managers to identify risks and opportunities across multiple projects within the department
- Analyze, evaluate, and overcome program risks, and produce program reports for managers
- Identifies and assesses current and future training needs, using job analysis, annual performance appraisals, and in consultation with the quality assurance analyst and management team
- Works with trainers to develop individualized training plans based on job responsibilities and any knowledge gaps

- Monitors and evaluates training program’s effectiveness, including following up with participants and their supervisors to ensure learning objectives are met
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration or related field, preferred
- Five or more years of experience in an upper-management role can be used to substitute degree
- Three years of child support services experience demonstrating knowledge of current child support policy and procedures
- Exceptional skills in leadership, time management, facilitation, and organization
- Outstanding knowledge of change management principles and performance evaluation processes
- Experience designing and executing successful training programs
- Strong analytical, prioritizing, interpersonal, problem-solving, presentation, project management (from conception to completion), & planning skills
- Strong written and oral communication skills with proven ability working with all types of individuals from corporate to plant
- Solves complex problems through decision making, extensive research, analysis and evaluation of multiple variables
- Excellent skills specifically related to Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Visio, PowerPoint)
