This opportunity resides with Command, Control, Communications, Computers, Cyber, Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance (C5ISR), a business group within HII’s Mission Technologies division. Summary

HII-Mission Technologies is seeking a skilled Program Cost/Control Analyst to support our INDOPACOM Customer in Honolulu, HI! Come join our growing team today!

What you will do

  • Provides project management / administrative support and coordination to a contract, project, task(s) or business unit
  • Sets up cost control system, monitors and controls costs and schedules on contracts requiring validated cost schedule control system
  • Performs analyses and prepares reports in order to ensure that contracts are within negotiated and agreed-upon parameters and government cost control guidelines
  • Prepares budgets, financial forecasts and schedules for contract work and performs and/or assists in financial analyses such as funding profiles, sales outlook, and variance analysis
  • Prepares program and WBS plans to ensure program requirements and statement of work are captured and scheduled. Performs schedule risk assessments to identify and mitigate program cost and scheduling risks
  • Ensures adequate funding availability by maintaining accurate records of expenditures, directing preparation of expenditure projections, and submitting timely requests for additional funding to the government
  • Incorporates contractual changes into control systems by staying aware of outstanding work against each contract in order to maintain realistic contract cost and schedule baselines
  • May represent the company at project planning meetings
  • May assist in providing interface and coordination with other contractors and other related programs to organize and review work progress
  • Additional duties as assigned or required 

What we are looking for

  • 10 years relevant experience with Bachelors in related field; 8 years relevant experience with Masters in related field; or High School Diploma or equivalent and 14 years relevant experience
  • Demonstrated experience in setting up and maintaining cost control systems for government contracts
  • Experience monitoring and controlling project costs and schedules, ensuring adherence to negotiated parameters and government cost control guidelines
  • Proven ability to perform cost and schedule variance analysis, identify risks, and develop mitigation strategies
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and relationship-building skills
  • Clearance: Must possess and maintain a Secret Clearance, with the continued ability to obtain a TS/SCI
